2nd Circuit Rejects Agent Orange Claims by U.S. Veterans, Vietnamese Nationals (Law.com via Yahoo! Finance)
The 2nd Circuit has dealt a blow to individuals who claim damage from the use of Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. The circuit upheld the dismissal of suits brought by 16 U.S. military veterans or their relatives on the grounds that the claims against Dow Chemical and other manufacturers were barred by the government contractor defense.
