FIRST-HOME buyers across the State have shared in a $1.8 billion windfall since the $7000 grant was introduced six years ago. A total of 254,177 first-home grants have been handed out in NSW since the scheme was introduced on July 1, 2000 _ 147,627 of them in Sydney.
