200-year protection from floods earns OK (The Woodland Daily Democrat Online)
Legislation by Assemblywoman Lois Wolk, D-Davis, to require 200-year flood protection for new housing subdivisions in the Central Valley passed out of the Assembly Local Government Committee on a 5-2 vote.
